Graduate Credit
One semester hour of graduate credit is available through Ashland University for the Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC). Accumulate 12.5 contact hours through any combination of educational sessions offered at OETC and receive one semester hour of graduate credit. The fee per semester hour of credit through Ashland is $185.

1. Register with Ashland University.
2. Enroll in the free OETC '26 TeacherCampus.org course. All course communication and course work submissions will occur through this platform.
Requirements for Credit:

Register for 1CR at Ashland University.

OETC attendance and documentation (complete attendance log) that must equate to 12.5 contact hours.

Complete one of the field study options below and submit by March 14, 2026.
Field Study Options for each semester hour:

Select one of the keynote speakers and write a two-page paper reflecting on your reaction to the concepts, strategies and/or insights presented and their value in your current role.

As you reflect on your learning during this professional development experience, identify and explain two practices or concepts that resonated with you. Describe how you will implement them in your district, school or classroom. Provide a lesson plan based on the new concepts.

The many conference sessions are focused on timely and relevant topics, including classroom literacy, leadership in literacy, literacy coaching, children’s literature, Reading Recovery and more. Choose one of these strands and write a two-page paper based on information gained from the session(s) you attended. Analyze your current classroom or school regarding the implementation and describe how you might use your new knowledge and/or skills to increase your teachers’/students’ progress and achievement.

Create a presentation on a topic of the conference to share with colleagues. Include a page describing presentation, attendees, agenda, materials and aspects of the conference that have informed the presentation. This is not a group project.
