Ohio PBS Announces Transition in Educational Technology Conference Leadership

Ohio PBS (CET, Ideastream, Think TV, Western Reserve, WGTE, WOSU, WOUB) will no longer host the Ohio Educational Technology Conference due to funding constraints and long-term sustainability considerations.

This decision was not made lightly. OETC has served as an important space for educators to gather, learn, and exchange ideas. However, the financial resources required to operate a statewide conference of this scale are no longer available.

Our commitment to educators has not changed.

Ohio PBS will continue supporting schools and districts through local and regional initiatives, targeted professional development, trusted classroom resources, and community partnerships. By focusing our efforts closer to home, we can ensure that our work remains impactful, responsive, and financially responsible.

We are grateful to the educators, partners, sponsors, and exhibitors who have supported OETC over the years. We look forward to continuing to serve Ohio’s education community in new and sustainable ways.
